A Nantucket tradition has returned with the re-opening of The Chanticleer. Local culinary standouts Susan Handy and Jeff Worster, the duo behind Black Eyed Susan’s, one of the Island most popular eateries, have reinvented the legendary restaurant as a Brasserie Moderne.
The “Ivy Covered Cottage,” is known for its rose-covered exterior, exquisite gardens and exceptional cuisine. The new Chanticleer provides a festive dining experience and a modern French menu emphasizing New England and artisan ingredients. Chef Worster also offers several plats du jour with flavor profiles often spanning the globe.
The extensive wine list is all-French and focuses of regional chateaux chosen for their compatibility with the menu items.
Located at 9 New Street in Siasconset, MA, the Chanticleer is open May through October for lunch, dinner, and private celebrations.
